Standard Waves

Standard waves form the baseline of the wave rotation. They are the default waves that appear most frequently between events and boss encounters.

• Normal Wave: Standard tsunami wave. Baseline damage and item drops. The most common wave type.
• Fly Wave: A wave that moves through the air above ground level. Safe to stand under if you’re on lower terrain.
• Bomb Wave: Explosive wave with area damage. Identify and evacuate before impact.
• Water Wave: Clean water wave with no special effects. Safe to stand in. Drops basic items.
• Stray Pixel Wave: A glitchy, pixelated wave variant. Purely visual novelty with standard drops.
• Frostbitten Wave: Cold-themed wave with slowing effect. Reduces movement speed on contact.
• Sinewave: Wave with a sine-wave motion pattern. Timing your movement to its rhythm helps avoid damage.
• Obby Wave: Obstacle-course styled wave. Includes platforming elements within the wave itself.
• Chicken Wave: Wave themed around chickens. Harmless comedy wave with item drops.
• Deleted Wave: A wave that briefly appears and vanishes. Minimal risk, standard rewards.
• Moldy Wave: Gross-looking wave with mold textures. Harmful on contact but easy to avoid.
• Troll Wave: General-purpose troll wave with random effects. Can range from harmless to damaging.
• Richard Wave: Themed wave referencing a specific internet personality. Variable effects.
• Electro Wave: Electric-themed wave. Deals damage on contact with arcing electricity visuals.
• Allen Wave: Reference wave with specific mechanics tied to its theme.
• N Wave: Single-letter themed wave with unique visual design.
• Somedeviser Wave: Developer-themed wave with unusual mechanics.
• Telewaver / Telefragger: Long-range wave that can hit players from unexpected angles.

Helpful Waves

Helpful waves provide positive effects, healing, or boosted item drops. These are always worth staying near.

• Healing Wave (Ralsei): Restores health. Drop everything and stand in it during tough sessions.
• Healing Wave (Mari): Another healing wave variant. Same effect, different character theme.
• Healing Wave (Arcid): Third healing wave type. Collect these to recover from damage taken.
• Healing Wave (Flex): Healing wave with a flexing character theme. Restores health on contact.
• Coin Wave: Shows up as a themed wave but primarily drops coins. Excellent for passive income.
• Speed Boost Wave: Grants temporary movement speed increase. Useful for collection runs.
• Shield Wave: Provides temporary damage protection. Good for pushing through harmful waves safely.

Meme and Character Waves

The game’s signature wave category. These reference internet culture, popular games, viral memes, and web personalities. They range from harmless comedy to genuine threats.

• Lava Wave: Essential for Wall of Flesh boss summon. Drop a Voodoo Doll into lava to trigger the fight. Otherwise dangerous — causes burn damage.
• Roblox Wave: Roblox-themed wave with the platform’s logo and colors. Variable effects.
• Pancake Wave: Pancake-themed wave (more common during Pancake Event). Can be both helpful and harmful depending on context.
• Deinx94 Wave: Reference wave to a specific Roblox developer or community figure.
• Foot Wave: Gross-out meme wave. Purely comedic with no significant gameplay effect.
• Baldi Wave (Baldi’s Basics): Baldi-themed wave from Baldi’s Basics. Can include math questions or rule changes.
• Hole in the Wall Wave: Inspired by the Hole in the Wall game show. Wave has a moving hole you must fit through.
• Poop Wave: Gross-out meme wave. Purely humorous, low risk.
• Beep Blocks Wave: Musical wave with Beep Blocks audio. Rhythm-based timing helps avoid damage.

• Golden Wave: Part of Golden Event. Yellow-themed waves with boosted rare item drops.
• Pancake Wave (Event): Enhanced pancake wave during Pancake Event. Higher item yield.
• Faberge Eggs: Very rare wave during Golden Event. Blue and Yellow Faberge eggs are among the rarest items in the game.
• Blood Moon Waves: Special red-themed waves during Blood Moon events. Contain Secret, Celestial, Divine, and Infinity rarity tier brainrots.
• Eclipse Lucky Block: Appears during Blood Moon. Can produce extreme rewards or hazards.
• Blood Moon Lucky Block: Blood Moon variant of lucky block waves.
• Storm Wave Variants: Modified versions of standard waves with storm effects. Less predictable.
• Stinky Wave: Gross comedy waves exclusive to Stinky Event.

Boss Waves

Waves directly tied to boss encounters or boss mechanics.

• Lava Wave + Voodoo Doll: The combination that summons Wall of Flesh. Drop the doll in the lava.
• Mysterious Portal Wave: The wave that signals Totario availability. Swirling vortex effect.
• Medium-to-High Severity Waves: The wave condition associated with Airship spawns.

Wave Naming and Updates

The wave roster is actively developed. The developers (WE BLUDDIN OUT OF THIS ONE) add new waves with each patch. Check the Updates page regularly for newly documented wave types. Community-created wave catalogs on YouTube are also a valuable resource for identifying the latest additions.
